Myths or Facts?

There is a big difference in the quality of instruction available to students. Check with others who have already taken driver training before you commit. We will let our word-of-mouth speak for us. We have had many students from certain other driving schools come to us and say things like

"I never got taught that" / ''I never learned that"

"You explain things in a way that makes sense"

"I wish I had come here (National) first"

"My last instructor at... was hard to understand"

"It's nice to see a teacher who is passionate about what he teaches... thanks!"

The truth is that many schools now focus mostly on how to pass the road test. They spend much of the lesson time driving around the testing area, so their students learn how to pass the test; not how to handle different driving situations and types of drivers. At National, we aim much higher to offer our students the necessary training of skills and knowledge to be able to handle whatever comes across their path.

We teach a defensive approach that can help keep our students safe by using the right attitude and proactively assess potential threats which can allow them time to make the right decisions.
